AFC South Preview

AFC South Preview

Houston Texans Best Offensive Player Arian Foster Best Defensive Player Johnathan Joseph

The Good The Texans have do it all back in Arian Foster who rushed for over 1200 yards and had over 600 yards receiving to go along with Ben Tate to form the best 1-2 running duo in the league. The Texans might have the best oline in the NFL lead by left tackle Duane Brown. Andre Johnson is still one of the best wr in the league and Matt Shaub is a very good qb when healthy. The Texans have a very good defense-starting corner Johnathan Joseph to go with Brian Cushing and have pa rushers in J.J Watt and Connor Barwin; they drafted Whitney Mercilus to help replace Mario Williams.
The Bad The 3 best players on offense Shaub Foster and Johnson have missed games in the last 2 seasons. How much will the Texans miss the 2 best defensive players in franchise history in Mario Williams and Demeco Ryans. Can the Texans handle the expectations that people are putting on them?

At worst 10-6
At Best 12-4
Realistically 11-5

Tennessee Titans Best Offensive Player Chris Johnson Best Defensive player Kameron Wimbley

The Good Chris Johnson look rededicated to football and looks to have a bounce back season this year. Jake Locker is the starter and he has tremendous upside. Wimbley was brought in to give the Titans a legit Pass Rusher. The Titans have the extremely athletic Jared Cook at Tight end who looks ready to have a break out year and the talented but very dumb Kenny Brittle. The Titans

The Bad Can Chris Johnson gets back to his elite running back status. Besides Wimbley who else can get to the qb. Kenny Brittle is going to b suspended for 1 game and he has been injury prone so far in his career. Jake Locker is very talented but he will have his ups and down this year.

At Worst 7-9
At Best 10-6
Realistically 9-7

Jacksonville Jaguars Best Offensive Player Maurice Jones Drew Best Defensive Player Daryl Smith

The Good Maurice Jones Drew is one of the best players in the NFL. Blane Gabber has looked good in the preseason and with Rookie Justin Blackmon and Laurent Robinson he should be a better qb this year. The Jags had the 6th best defense last year and Daryl Smith is one of the more underrated linebackers in the NFL.

The Bad Maurice Jones Drew went through a nasty hold out with the Jags and who knows how quickly he will be able to get back into football shape. Blane Gabbert was the worst qb and Laurent Robinson just a 1 year wonder. Justin Blackmon has already been arrested for a dui so is this just a 1-time thing or a sign of things to come. The Jags have struggled to get consistent pressure on the qb for years.
At Worst 4-12
At Best 7-9
Realistically 6-10

Indianapolis Colts Best Offensive Player Reggie Wayne Best Defensive Player Robert Mathis

The Good the 2011 season is over. The have Andrew Luck who is one of the most accomplished qs to be drafted in decades. They still have Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis and they are still a formidable pass-rushing duo.

The Bad The Peyton Manning era is over. Andrew luck I very talented but he will have some growing pains and the Colts defense is trash and so is the offense.

At Worst 2-14
At Best 5-11
Realistically 3-13
